This set was a christmas present for my 2 1/2 yr old son. He absolutely loves it.
I wondered if he would be able to put all the toys together easily/by himself without frustration and he has had no problems with any of the pieces. They are very well built (and trust me, this kid puts toys to the test).
I also wondered if this set would have enough pieces- I thought perhaps I would buy some additional corners and straight sections- I’m glad I didn’t. There are plenty of pieces here.
Clean-up is great, too, all the pieces fit into a small basket.
If you have a child that loves trains, I would highly suggest this!

Hours of fun

Great Set for the Money
We purchased this for our son for Christmas. He was going to be turning 2 in January. He loves Thomas, but it's hard to justify those prices especially when you have other children to buy for. Needless to say, we have been very impressed with this set. It has a ton of track, you can set it up in many different configurations--I don't think we've ever done the same thing twice! The bridge and tunnel are great additions. All in all, perfect for our son at his age. And just a note, Thomas track pieces and trains DO fit with this set, which is another bonus! Another great product from Melissa and Doug.
fun but needs wider bridge supports
This is a great starter train set, however, the bridge supports are very narrow compared to other sets and the tracks tend to cave in. This can be frustrating for kids.
Wooden childs train
I bought this train set for my four year old grandson and he loves it. It is also handy that it can't be destroyed by his 18 month old brother. They both seem to enjoy it and it is safe for both of them and durable.
Great Set, Lots of fun!
My 2 boys love their train sets and play with it all the time. It is well built and does exactly what is is supposed to do. Anyone looking for a good train set should definitely consider this one.

It is a fun toy that my 2 1/2 year old loves. Even my 4 and 6 year olds can hop on and rock around a bit. Haven’t found the musical part yet, but whatever. It is cute, and a great value at the 50 dollar plus pricepoint as opposed to the 100 plus I found on other sites.

We put this swing up and put our 10 month old in it right away. He absolutely loved it. We push him as high as he can go and he squeals in delight the whole time. As long as you are using the swing the correct way, it seems very safe. I would recommend this swing!

We purchased 2 John Deere Tractor floor puzzles as an indoor activity for our son’s 4th birthday party in the event it rained. The party theme was John Deere Tractors. He’s pretty good at puzzles but needed more help because of the oversized pieces and the outer rim of the puzzle is not squared off. We were even challenged. My 3 year old son is tractor-crazy and loves this puzzle. The pieces fit well and the quality is very good.
Good value
good durable puzzle for most children. Bought it for a 3 yr. old and he needed a lot of help with it, but he keep wanting to do it again, so he was very interested in trying to learn, but might be more appreciated at the 4 or 5 yr. level..
Details incorrect in description
This is listed as a 60 piece puzzle which was one of the main reasons I purchased it. My nephew is ready for a bigger challenge; up from 36 piece puzzles. Please just note this difference. It may still be a very nice puzzle, but just was very disappointed to see it was just 34 pieces.

After our 16 month old got this toy, he started to feed it a bottle and put it on the potty, prompting him to be more aware of his own elimination needs. Only problem we had is that the doll doesn’t take water in from the bottle into its mouth. We had to suck water in while it was in the tub. Very durable otherwise and he continues to enjoy it every day!

Great help with potty training!
Bought this toy to help my son learn to use the toilet. We spent the weekend with him teaching Baby Paul to use the potty one morning (including Baby Paul having accidents), and then my son started using the potty that afternoon. Before we got the doll, he had resisted using the potty for anything but #1; this doll really helped! The only bad thing was my older daughter (5) got jealous and wanted a dolly of her own.
Does Not Function Properly
Paul is suppose to drink, then pee when his belly is squeezed-the one problem with Paul, is he pees out of his neck-without any squeezing at all! My daughter gave this one round, placed him on a towel because he was leaking out of his neck-and that was the end of Paul. Don't waste your money!
Excellent teaching product
This sure did help when it came to potty training teaching! Also very important for teaching emotional skills to young boys - something many parents and teachers limit to girls.
Paul is terriffic!
My son loves Paul. He takes him everywhere. He has also helped with potty training. My son likes to sit on his potty next to Paul while Paul sits on his. This is better than I imagined.

I love Garth!!!

Love this dog
I bought this dog for my children, (I bought 2)when my yellow lab passed away. He was our world.....the girls were so excited we we gave it to them, They sleep with the dogs every night. Would recommend this for any dog lover!!
My son's favorite stuff animal!
I bought this plush animal when my son was about 1, he didn't pay too much attention to it at first, but now that he's almost 3 he loves his doggie. His doggie goes to beg with him, he does pretend play and gives his doggie water when he needs it, and best of all he just loves giving him hugs! The dog is very soft and cuddly. Now I'm off to buy something similar for my niece.
Needs a little corrective sewing
Garth is a really plush, comfortable dog but I happen to have gotton one with the seam down his back really slanted. I like to keep him on bed for show mostly and the seam down his back in the first place reminds me of when my real life Lab had spinal surgery and needed her back stapled to heal(she did fine) I suppose as a kid I wouldn't mind but he's more for show and I wonder why anyone would make a connection down its back anyway?

I have a ton of these toys and i luv them all. I don't have this 1 in particular, but i have some others from the same brand and they are all super soft and fun for all ages. I bet it is a great toy.

I wasn’t sure if this would be easy to use or if our baby would even sleep in it on our recent beach trip. This product FAR exceeded my expectations. It’s compact, easy to set up, and the perfect size for the beach. Three of the sides are ventilated so that there was nice air flow to keep the baby cool. He was never hot or sweaty. It was also nice that the one side was not mesh, so we could turn it so that that side faced the sun. Our 3 month old slept in this peacefully for hours while we were on the beach. We had several people stop and comment on what a great idea this little tent was. We even saw another couple with an older baby in the same tent, and the baby was playing and having a great time. The bottom is waterproof and helps to keep sand out. We did put the diaper bag inside to keep it from blowing, as it was fairly breezy, but this really wasn’t a big deal. It kept the diaper bag from getting sandy and it was easier to just put something inside to weigh it down than it would have been to deal with stakes. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is hesitant about taking a baby to the beach. It was absolutely perfect for protecting him from the sun as well. We did put sunscreen on his skin, but this probably would have provided adequate protection on its own. I wish they had had these when my other kids were little.

Cute! Easy to Assemble
Its cute, great for outdoors and inside...I have it set up inside my daughters room and she loves to crawl in and out of it. But...it doesnt have stakes or anywhere to use stakes...so cant use it on a windy day without something weighing it down...besides that its great.

Tent is overall durable, EXCEPT you have to be very careful to not allow the velcro on the door to not touch the mesh used on the door and at the bottom of the tent for ventilation, otherwise it will cause rips and thinning of the material. Good value, great item for the price ( I paid $[...])

The bottom is waterproof and helps to keep sand out. We did put the diaper bag inside to keep it from blowing, as it was fairly breezy, but this really wasn't a big deal. It kept the diaper bag from getting sandy and it was easier to just put something inside to weigh it down than it would have been to deal with stakes. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is hesitant about taking a baby to the beach. It was absolutely perfect for protecting him from the sun as well. We did put sunscreen on his skin, but this probably would have provided adequate protection on its own. I wish they had had these when my other kids were little.
Great for the price
This tent is great for the price. It is kind've a pain to put up though. It is great for the kids to play with at home, but when we went to the beach, it took me 5 minutes to get it up and by that time I was so hot, sweaty and irritated. It does not keep the sun out and it is very hot in there. I would recommend it for a play room.
Great for infants!
I bought this so my 4 month old could take naps at the pool protected from the sun. It is easy to set up and take down. It might take 2 people when you're first getting used to it. I do put an extra towel on top because if the tent is in direct sun, some will get through.

Just bought this take and play set for my 3 year old and he loves it. We cannot wait for the new Thomas movie”Misty Island Rescue” to come out on Blu Ray. We have the Misty Island story book and my son wants to read it every night before bed. I purchase items from Amazon a lot, but I always check to see if someone else has the same item for a better price, and Walmart sells this set for .97. I wish they also sold the new characters Dash and Bash to go with the set.

Fun toy for Thomas fans

My 18 month old has played with this toy everyday since she has gotten it. The numbers are the perfect size for her hands- she likes to carry them around and play with them separately. She loves anything musical and loves the little counting song. The only issue I have is that the numbers aren’t the same colors as the places they go in. It makes it more challenging for her because she cant place the number in a color matching place and has not yet learned how to place the numbers based on their shape. I do use the numbers to teach colors by saying ‘Yellow Three’ and such. Overall, I would definitely recommend this toy for a lil one. Its durable, bright, the right size, and the music is very catchy.

Perfect for learning numbers and colors!

It's just ok......
I bought this for my two year old for his 2nd birthday. He loves Mickey Mouse and although he does enjoy this toy, as a parent I am not too thrilled with it. First, I am not a big fan of toys that have removable parts especially for toddlers. The numbers on the front of the toy come off so that the child can fit them back together like a puzzle. Being that my son is only two, he does not keep track of the numbers well and I am often finding them in scattered throughout the house. Also, as others have said it is a bit loud and after listening to the same button being pressed 100 times, a bit annoying but its not in my opinion any different than a lot of other toys. Overall, my son enjoys this toy but I think the original see n say is just as fun and you don't have to worry about losing pieces.

My 2 year old got this toy at his birthday party. He has taken him a couple of weeks to get the hang of pulling the ear but he has got it down now. He gets frustrated trying to make the numbers fit. Coordination is not best at the age, plus he is usually trying to fit the 5 into the 3 slot and so on. The part I don't like is that it doesn't have the arrow that spins like the ones I grew up with had. I think he would have enjoyed that. He does love to pull the ear and make it talk. Personally, I think the sound effects are a little loud.
